Big data management in the modern economy:  development of an integrated indicator

Digitalization of the economy implies a rapid growth of global data volumes, which creates difficulties in processing and storing them. The article is devoted to big data management in the modern economy. The authors provide definitions of Big Data. The analysis of the growth in the volume of digitized data, the volume of global IP traffic, and the size of the global artificial intelligence market is performed. The main challenges of the Big Data era are substantiated. A global index of countries ' readiness for Big Data has been developed.

Indicators of cultural relations between russian, finnish and chinese firms

The research was carried out with the financial support of the RFBR for the scientific project No. 20-010-00333.

We studied the indicators of cross-cultural interaction of firms in Russia, Finland and China. The subject of the study was the relationship between economic agents, expressed by indicators of cross-cultural interactions. The authors identified characteristic indicators of cross-cultural interactions between representatives of different countries and developed a system of indicators of cross-cultural interactions between representatives of Russia, Finland, and China that contribute to the development of inter-firm relations. These results are important for improving inter-company cooperation. The applied apparatus for evaluating inter-firm cross-cultural interactions of firms in different countries has been developed.

The author's structure of intangible assets of the territory is proposed, their uniqueness is revealed. The fundamental properties of the cooperation of territories in the modern economic space are formulated. The content and structure of the integration maturity of the territory are determined. Based on the conducted expert surveys, the factors restraining and initiating the cooperation of territories in the modern economic space are specified.

The authors consider the historical development of project and program management in Russia, Western Europe, and the United States. The work shows the essence of the main processes of project management practice. The authors paid special attention to changes in the understanding of the importance of project and program management elements.
The scientific analysis allowed us to give our own characteristics of project management systems in Russia and abroad, and to make recommendations on the formation of domestic management systems.

Diagnostics of the enterprise management system based on a set of direct and indirect features

The article presents the technology of diagnostics of the enterprise division management system based on a set of direct and indirect features. The difference between the described technology is the early use of symptoms of management stagnation, which allows you to effectively prevent the stagnation of the organization. The technology is illustrated by a practical example of diagnostics of a division of a manufacturing enterprise.

Trends, factors and strategic priorities of kaluga region investment development

The article is devoted to the analysis of the average annual growth rates of indicators of investment development of the Kaluga region. Based on the analysis of the current situation and comparison with the indicators provided for by the Concept of long-term socio-economic development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020 and regional programs, it is determined that it is not possible to achieve the planned values for the share of innovative products, as well as the share of industrial enterprises engaged in technological re-equipment. The transition of the state to the digital industry, which includes the analysis of large amounts of data, three-dimensional modeling, the implementation of “smart home” and “smart city” projects, and other activities, only increases the need to create conditions for increasing investment and introducing innovations in the socio-economic sphere.

Regulatory methods and instruments in the universal dynamic operational management system multitype machinery

The method of operational regulation of different types of machine-building production should take into account the influence of external and internal factors on production. For success, it is necessary to accurately provide details of the production program of workshops and operational planning tasks for production sites, to coordinate the goals and indicators of work of all structural divisions of the enterprise. The paper discusses changes in machine-building production, and the reasons that led to the development of a new operating model for operational regulation of production. The main production regulators are given, the introduction of which will increase productivity.

Financing small and medium-size enterprises

The article is devoted to attracting financing by small and medium-sized businesses. The article analyzes the product line of banks for medium-sized businesses, which includes special types of financing: commercial mortgages, car loans for businesses, and a program to stimulate lending to small and medium-sized businesses. The scheme of the process of attracting credit and the requirements of banks to provide information is given. Recommendations for managing the company’s finances are given: diversification of banks, use of various banking products in accordance with the financing goals, and clear financial planning of the company’s activities.

The management of the enterprise cannot be effective without a system of risk management. Such management involves determining the prospects and searching for potential opportunities to improve the business activity of an economic entity, avoiding or reducing the likelihood of an undesirable outcome. Risk management involves identifying possible deviations from the planned results, managing the identified deviations for the effectiveness of decisions made, and reducing losses. The article deals with the risks of Russian lighting companies related to energy efficiency, quality, safety and environmental friendliness of traditional incandescent lamps and innovative filament led lamps. Management measures for the impact on these types of risks in the production, sale and consumption of incandescent lamps and led lamps are introduced. It is concluded as a necessary fact to have a standard of organization for risk management of light sources developed in accordance with the requirements of national standards of risk management series at lighting enterprises.

One of the most important resources for the success of any organization is its staff with their skills, abilities, qualifications and ideas. The purpose of the study is to find ways to manage the labor motivation of the personnel of a commercial enterprise, using the example of LLC Sandaleno2, and to develop recommendations for increasing the productivity of employees and increasing the efficiency of a company using motivational mechanisms. The result of the study was developed proposals for the management of labor motivation of staff. It was concluded that the use of methods and mechanisms of labor motivation management in sales salons of LLC Sandaleno gives the following results: the productivity of employees of salons increases, the profitability of sales increases, and the company receives an annual increase in profits.

Integration of environmental risks in the procedure for assessing the creditworthiness of legal entities

In order to facilitate the rapid development of green financing, the global banking sector has already begun studies to assess the impact of changes in environmental policies on operating expenses of firms, and as a result, on their cost and creditworthiness. Holistic practice of environmental risk management is of great importance for the modern financial system. The article demonstrates one of the ways to incorporate environmental risks into a credit rating system for firms based on their quantitative impact on environmental factors. To demonstrate the possibilities and consequences of including environmental risks in assessing the creditworthiness of legal entities, a model was used where the function was the value of the company, the endogenous variables were the financial indicators of the company, taking into account the influence of environmental policy factors on them, and the result was a matrix of the dynamics of credit risk. The directions of migration of credit ratings (creditworthiness) of companies are shown for various values of variables (environmental expenditures and financial indicators).
