Annotation:
Today, management is a whole field of knowledge that has its own history. The article analyzes current approaches to the periodization of scientific management in the past and present centuries, characterizes the contribution of representatives of classical schools and approaches to the history of managerial thought, identifies the main features of the management of the BANI world – management of the present time.

Annotation:
The article discusses the nature of intellectual capital as the basis for the company’s innovative development. Considerable attention is paid to the peculiarities of intellectual resources, as well as their transformation into the main productive force. In fact, intellectual resources become the most significant among the available resources of an enterprise, having a significant impact on its capitalization. At the same time, despite their significant importance for the value of the enterprise, intellectual resources are still not fully reflected in the financial statements. This topic is also raised by the authors of the article.

Àííîòàöèÿ:
The article discusses the application of the SWOT-analysis method in the strategic planning of the activities of a particular medical organization. This method of analysis allowed the authors to use a systematic approach in the strategic planning of the activities of a medical organization, draw up a matrix of management decisions, choose a strategy for the development of a medical institution, develop practical recommendations for implementing the proposed strategy and show the expected effects from the implementation of each event. The use of this method of analysis will improve the strategic planning of the activities of medical organizations, and, consequently, the quality of medical services.

Annotation:
The article reveals the main factors of the implementation of high-tech projects in the field of agricultural production, contributing to the increase in the share of import substitution of food. The success of the projects is based on an effective combination of entrepreneurial initiatives, management quality and government support measures. A specific case of creating a startup for the «shock» deep freezing of vegetables, the cultivation of which is specialized by agricultural producers of the Volgograd region and other regions of Southern Russia, is considered. Barriers to scaling the project and restrictions for import substitution have been identified. Conclusions are drawn about the need for systematic measures for the development of all links of the production chain.

Annotation:
The article examines the service sector of Russia and the Orenburg region and examines the dynamics of the development of the services market. Based on statistical data, the authors analyzed the state of the country’s services, trends in the development of the service sector in Russia and in the Orenburg region. Priority directions for the development of the service sector in the region have been identified and recommendations have been proposed for the development of the service sector by supporting small businesses and improving the financing of the innovation base.

Lean management – an organizational philosophy transforms aerospace

Annotation:
Toyota’s manufacturing philosophy of the 1980’s caused a stir in the manufacturing world because of the amazing results it produced on three key areas- quality, cost & delivery. Toyota Productions System (TPS) also got formalized as Lean manufacturing, an innovative thought process aimed at removal of waste in all its forms. Sustained efforts were made by the researchers world over to decipher this competitive success traced to the Toyota Production System. Early contributors to the field were Schonberger, 1982; Shingo, 1989; Mehra and Inman, 1992, Adler, 1993, Womack and Jones, 1994, Liker, 1998, Sobek et al 1998, Spear and Bowen, 1999 etc. A path-breaking book written by Womack et al (1990) “The Machine that Changed the World”, created manufacturing revolution and changed the way most of the industries looked at the production process. The term “Lean Production” coined by Krafcik (1988) was explained by Womack et al and was further developed by Karlsson (1992). Lean Manufacturing originated in the Automobile Sector but was soon adopted almost 15 years later after a lot of research work went into the field. Murman et al., 2002; Nightingale & Mize 2002, James Moore & Gibbons (1997) were the few researchers who contributed to the Lean Production Implementation in Aerospace in many other sectors. However, Lean Manufacturing made entry to Aerospace Sector.
Researchers from many countries continue to work on the Lean Production principles; however case studies on adoption & implementation of Lean Production have been few. Implementation cases in Aerospace have been still fewer. The main aim of this study is to examine implementation cases in Aerospace Manufacturing Companies across the world. Case studies on some of the global majors in Aerospace Industries are taken up here bringing out key learnings from the implementation experience which have got applicability in Indian Aerospace industries as well. Areas requiring continuation of further research are also suggested.

Corporate social responsibility is perceived by all stakeholders as an integral element of business in maintaining social and environmental sustainability. The growing demand for information about the activities of companies in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development stimulates the development of ESG indices and numerous company ratings. Non-financial reporting acts as information sources for calculating ESG indices. The digital platform is considered as a modern source of information about the ESG activities of companies.

Annotation:
The article considers small and medium-sized businesses of the Russian Federation as a subsystem of the national economy. The author presents and substantiates the model of institutional changes of the innovation-integration type developed by the authors, based on the assumption that economic security is divisible and consists of local elements, bringing them (with subsequent integration in order to obtain a synergistic effect) to a state recognized as economically safe for the implementation of the assigned on the system of strategic goals and objectives, needs institutional changes. Directions are proposed for the purposes of strategic management of the economic security of small and medium-sized businesses.

Digital transformation requires all-in-one solutions in production management

Annotation:
The essence and content of a flexible production system, which is created as a result of the digital transformation of industrial enterprises, are considered. It has been shown that the digital transformation of industrial enterprises in the conditions of dynamic diverse production must be carried out by developing basic approaches to production management and universal solutions. The key components of a new methodology for managing Russian industrial enterprises in the digital economy are proposed – the operating core of the production system and the model of information interaction between data and elements of the operating core in the operational management system of an industrial enterprise. The efficiency factors of the proposed approach to the implementation of the digital transformation of Russian industrial enterprises are described.

Annotation:
The article proposes a model of effective construction of a leasing procedure, which allows to take into account the interests of the parties to the leasing transaction to the maximum extent. À significant element of novelty is the determination of a number of positions on the «decoupling» of bottlenecks in the implementation of the proposed technology, in particular, the construction and regulation of economic and time indicators of the transaction.

Annotation:
The article examines the existing management models in management, their characteristics and features are given; the specifics of use and conditions of best use are investigated. Functional portraits of the head of the organization and the manager are presented. Comparative characteristics of a leader and a manager are given. The main features, properties, capabilities, and dynamics of behavior of managers and managers of the organization in various situations on the basis of feedback «boss–subordinate» are revealed. A model of behavior of a modern manager is proposed with a description of its components: way of thinking; setting goals and forming strategies; ability to hold meetings; combination of qualities of a talented manager with a loyal colleague; mentoring; striving for self-improvement.

Annotation:
In recent years, the trend towards responsibility and environmental friendliness has been considered by the company as a matter of paramount importance and is prescribed in its strategic goals. As a result, the concept of ESG emerged, which includes three areas of the company’s development – ecology, social policy and corporate governance. The article analyzes the trends in the development and application of ESG principles. The key directions and tasks of the organization’s activities in the field of ESG were highlighted. It is shown how innovations related to ESG factors affected the life and way of life of the population in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The attractiveness of the company, according to the author, now depends not only on its entrepreneurial activity, but also on the increasing concern for the environment and the decreasing polluting effect.
