Annotation:
The modern labor market features are influenced by a wide range of factors compiling the global challenges of the 21st century, namely: socio-demographic trends associated with urbanization and depopulation; economic factors related to the rising trend of inequality and economic stratification; technological factors connected with the creation of new technological pathways and digitalization; political trends, due to which the world’s reversion toward autarky macroeconomic regions seems highly likely. These challenges exacerbate social and labor problems and call for the search for practical solutions. The article presents the main directions of migration flows in the Russian Federation in the post-Soviet period and their impact on the economic state of the Russian labor market.
Keywords: globalization, social and economic challenges, labor market, migration flows.

The article substantiates the use of simulation factor modeling of economic security to improve the quality of decisions under uncertainty. It is shown that the use of the Monte Carlo method is most effective, since additional opportunities for risk assessment are created, including taking into account the factors of green entrepreneurship. The initial conditions for modeling were the basic data of environmental damage. Simulation was made in the system of built-in excel functions. The article presents the results of checking the generation of random numbers during Monte Carlo simulation. An important practical conclusion of modeling the values of the analyzed indicators by the Monte Carlo method should be considered a quantitative assessment of the probability of certain values of the indicators.
Keywords: green entrepreneurship, sustainable development, risk and threat assessment, economic security, regions, simulation modeling, Monte Carlo method.
