The role and place of motivation as a management function in the process of managing an organization

Annotation:
The article analyzes the changes in theoretical approaches to determining the role and place of personnel motivation in the management process that have occurred since the first edition of the textbook by American authors Meskon, Albert and Hedouri Fundamentals of Management. Based on the analysis, the difference between the motivation function and three other general management functions is shown: planning, organization and control, in terms of its place in the management process. Examples are given of how, in different ways, implementing the functions of planning, organization and control, the head affects the motivation of the staff.

Annotation:
The article contains the theoretical provisions of the structural-systemic and competence-based approaches in the development of science and education in the formation of a new economy. The trends that affect the development of science and education in the context of the digitalization of the economy are systematized. The main directions of digital transformation of the domestic economy are summarized. The role of competencies in the formation of an ecosystem for the reproduction of the full cycle of human capital, the development and implementation of the results of research activities in the context of inclusive economic growth is indicated. The characteristic of possession of digital competences among students of different levels of educational programs is presented. An integral model of key directions of development of scientific and educational institutions in the new economy is proposed.

In recent years, cultural projects have undergone some transformation. The article discusses the features of projects implemented in modern conditions in the field of culture. Annotation:
This paper proposes carbon footprint assessment method for multi-apartment buildings; estimates possible carbon footprint reduction; identifies and compares numerically three resource saving ways for multi-apartment buildings: 1) measures to be taken by operating companies, 2) measures to be taken individually by household residents, 3) measures under resource providers’ and authorities’ responsibility. Methods and approaches described can be used for residential management decision making.

Nowadays, medical institutions must skillfully use advertising and PR tools to attract and retain patients in a highly competitive environment. This article presents an analysis of commercial strategies of medical institutions and the role of advertising and reputation management in building patient trust. The author identifies factors that determine the effectiveness of commercial strategies of medical institutions and offers key recommendations for their implementation to maintain stability in the modern competitive environment. Annotation:
The article discusses the main factors, the impact on which will improve the efficiency of management in conditions of instability and a high degree of uncertainty of the external environment of the enterprise, and consequently, the effectiveness of its activities. Special attention is paid to the peculiarities of the organized management model. The dependence of the results of the company’s activities on various styles of organizational behavior of the manager and the role of strategic management as an effective management mechanism that allows taking into account the uncertainty of the external environment is shown. The influence of the level of staff loyalty on staff turnover is considered.

Annotation:
Sustainable development of enterprises is traditionally viewed through the prism of the economy, society, ecology, and therefore management, as a rule, is aimed at a constant increase in indicators that characterize these areas as its determinants. However, such achievements cannot be considered as the only sign of the effectiveness of sustainable development management, since indicators can be characterized by positive dynamics, but at the same time differ significantly from each other in terms of their level of affiliation. In this case, a compensation mechanism is launched, when a low level of sustainability in terms of some determinants is compensated by a high level of sustainability in others, and the goal of sustainable development is formally considered to be achieved. In this regard, this article presents a methodological approach to assessing the balance of determinants, which, together with the integral indicator of sustainable development, allows you to determine the management style that reflects its effectiveness.

Annotation:
The article considers the approaches of various scientific schools to the management of labor productivity growth. Annotation:
In the article, the authors consider the essence of the term intellectual capital. Within the framework of the work, attention is drawn to the duality of its nature and it is pointed out that in order to extract maximum value from it, only intellectual resources or only material capital are not enough. Not only both of these components are needed, but also the skills to extract synergies from them. The authors offer their vision on the topic of the fundamental possibility and ways to achieve such an effect.

Socio-psychological management tools: essence and content

Annotation:
The article considers various types of socio-psychological management tools. The results of the study suggest that the use of socio-psychological management tools is an important element in the activities of organizations, allowing one to achieve one’s goals and effectively manage people. The study showed that socio-psychological management tools have an impact on employee behavior, motivation, job satisfaction, conflicts, communication and organizational culture. It is also emphasized that the awareness and application of socio-psychological management tools is a necessity that ensures organizations successful functioning of in a rapidly changing world.

Business model of an industrial enterprise in conditions of digitalization

Annotation:
It has been proven that the digital transformation of industrial enterprises in a dynamic multi-type production must be carried out through the development of basic production management approaches and universal solutions. A comprehensive holistic approach has been developed to build a business model of an enterprise, the purpose of which is to obtain the greatest added value. A business model of an enterprise is proposed based on interrelated dynamic schedules for the release of products, parts, production costs and inventories, which make up the operating core of the operational production management system. It is shown that the dynamic plans-schedules reflect the parameters necessary and sufficient for the formation of a value chain in the enterprise.
New methods have been developed for optimizing the production program of the workshop and the operational task of the site for the implementation of the business model in practice.

Annotation:
In the context of a significant increase in demand for employees in the information technology and digitalization industry in all areas of business, as well as the formation of a special motivation system for information technology specialists (IT project managers, developers, architects, support and operation specialists), the problem of transforming the motivation system for these employees and their involvement in the business results of the company’s activities becomes urgent. The problem of finding new tools to improve the efficiency of employees has been the main one in management since its inception.
The paper reflects the results of a theoretical analysis on the identified problem, as well as a description of the methodology of the gamification program developed and implemented on the basis of the captive company OMK-Information Technologies, conventionally referred to as the Fair of Ideas.
Approaches to the introduction of digital tools based on a social network using the principles of gamification are considered. The conclusion is made about the effectiveness of its implementation in order to increase staff engagement and achieve business results. In preparing this work, the experience of Russian companies in the field of introducing game methods in personnel management was studied, and gamification was tested through the digital tool The Fair of Ideas to increase the involvement of employees of an existing IT company.

The article was prepared during the monitoring of the labor market of the professional sector Personnel Management within the framework of the working group of the Council on Professional Qualifications in the field of personnel management.

Annotation:
The article analyzes the labor market in the hr management segment for 20192021 Based on the results of the analysis of the headhunter portal data and expert surveys conducted by the Council for Professional Qualifications in Personnel Management (SEC UP), conclusions were drawn about the prospects for the development of the profession. The analysis showed that contrary to attempts to regulate professional activity with the help of a system of professional qualifications, which is based on the ideas of the expert community, it develops independently under the influence of various external and internal factors, as well as systemic changes in labor activity within the framework of the development of individual trends.
