The article describes the main reasons for making weakly evidential management decisions – cognitive distortions, conformism, agency conflict, internal competition, lack of data; their classification according to the degree of awareness and controllability is given. Understanding the reasons why a manager makes managerial decisions that are not supported by evidence is an important aspect of the doctrine of evidence-based management analyzed in this work.
