Management in the era of BANI and TACI: from controller to ecosystem architect

This article analyzes the paradigm shift in management caused by the transition from a stable industrial society to the turbulent conditions of the digital age (VUCA, BANI, and TACI worlds). The author argues that digital technologies are transforming not only business processes but also the very essence of management, requiring a fundamental rethinking of the role of management. Based on current research and data, four key transformation vectors are identified: from hierarchy to ecosystems, data as the foundation of decisions, leadership as a service and emotional intelligence, and Agile and continuous transformation. The article emphasizes that success in the new reality lies at the intersection of technologies (Data & AI), new structures (Networks & Ecosystems), and the human factor (Emotional Intelligence & Creativity). The author formulates an imperative for business education: it is necessary to train «digital leaders» and «T-shaped» specialists who combine technological literacy with developed soft skills. The article concludes that the future of management lies in the effective symbiosis of human qualities and technology, where artificial intelligence acts not as a substitute but as an enhancer of leadership competencies.
