  • The publication must have a scientific or scientific-practical focus and contain original research results or author-developed solutions. Authors are requested to cite only sources included in the reference list and to refer to relevant studies by other researchers.
  • When writing an article, authors should use the first person singular (“I”, “my”) if the article has a single author, and the first person plural (“we”, “our”) when expressing the opinions of several authors.

1. General requirements

The manuscript structure must comply with the journal requirements.

The article length should be:

  • minimum — 7 pages;

References in the text must be indicated by numbers in square brackets according to the order of appearance.

The same order (not alphabetical order, but the order in which sources are first mentioned in the text) must be maintained in the reference list.

The first source cited in the article must be the first source in the reference list.

All sources listed in the references must be cited in the text. All tables and figures must also be referenced.

If data from any organization are used in the article, references to the sources of such data are mandatory (for example, an electronic resource with the access date may be provided).

The reference list should contain no more than 2–3 references to the author’s own publications.

Appendices

If necessary, appendices may contain extensive supporting materials, such as research questionnaires or evaluation forms.

Appendices must be numbered separately and placed after the reference list:

Example:

Appendix 1

Page numbering is mandatory.

If authors use footnotes for explanations of terms or acknowledgements, footnotes must have continuous numerical numbering.

References to literature sources should not be formatted as footnotes unless they directly relate to a specific phrase containing a citation.

Example:

We thank P. Drucker for kindly providing information on the evolution of industrial relations in the Netherlands.

Correct:

The term “reference” is explained in detail in [9].

3. Text formatting requirements

Authors are reminded that in the article text (including tables and textual elements of figures):

  • no spaces should be placed before punctuation marks;
  • no spaces should be placed after headings and figure captions;
  • footnote markers should be placed before punctuation marks without spaces;
  • paragraph indents and heading indents must not be created using spaces;
  • exactly one space should be used between words;
  • Word styles should not be applied in the manuscript text, including the title.

4. Tables and Figures

Authors must carefully check numbering of tables and figures and references to them in the text.

Figures and tables must be numbered separately.

These are the only types of non-verbal elements in the text; therefore, additional terms such as “diagram” or “graph” should not be used.

5. Figures

If figures are created in Microsoft Word, they must be grouped.

Figures must be submitted:

  • in black-and-white format;
  • without shadows;
  • without colour elements.

Charts must also be presented in black-and-white format and without shadows.

Do not mechanically convert colour figures into black and white, as colours do not correspond directly to print shades of black. Special attention should be paid to geographical maps.

Figure captions are mandatory and must also be prepared in black-and-white format without shadows.

It is recommended to submit not only the manuscript file but also the original source files of figures, with filenames corresponding to figure numbers in the text.

For figures with fine details, preferred formats include:

  • AI;
  • EPS;
  • CDR 12;
  • INDD.

Text labels in vector graphics files must be converted into curves.

6. Equations

The use of the MathType editor is recommended.

When using Equation Editor, authors should ensure font consistency.

Requirements:

  • formulas must use the same font as the main text;
  • formulas must not be bold;
  • Latin letters must be italicized;
  • Greek letters and numbers must not be italicized or bold and should use regular formatting.

All formulas must be referenced in the text.

Formula numbers should be placed in parentheses.

Example:

The balance of the organization under study is calculated according to formula (1).

7. Language and Style Requirements

Authors should follow the norms of correct Russian academic writing.

Authors should:

  • use the letter “ё” in all words where it exists, including names and titles;
  • avoid abbreviations such as “etc.”, “e.g.” and similar shortened forms where full wording is preferable;
  • avoid using the slash symbol (“/”) as a substitute for conjunctions such as “or” or “and/or”, unless it is part of a quotation;
  • avoid vulgarisms, unnecessary foreign terminology, slang, tautological expressions, and inappropriate comparative constructions;
  • avoid excessive introductory phrases.

Please save your time and avoid the need to revise manuscripts due to technical errors.

The review and consideration of manuscripts usually takes up to three months.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit manuscripts and shorten submitted materials.

The Editorial Board may remove text containing repetition, advertising, hidden advertising, or promotional materials supporting specific organizations, services, or products.
